Nicola Roberts

My name is Nicola Roberts and I qualified at the Cardiff School of Podiatry in 1991 having completed a three year course. I then moved to West Yorkshire and have worked in the clinics at Crofton and Sharlston since 1995.

I am one of a team of 12 Podiatrist employed by Wakefield West Primary Care Trust. We work in a variety of locations within the Wakefield area including GP clinics and Health Centres, local hospitals, patient homes and residential homes.

What services do we offer?

¨      Management of High Risk Patients
Patients with foot problems caused by medical conditions for example Diabetes, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and  Rheumatoid Arthritis.

¨      Management of foot ulcers.

¨      Nail Surgery
This is the removal of part or all of a nail under a local anaesthetic.
