Carol PerkinsCarol returned to the practice in 2003 after a years break, whilst she worked for the Wakefield Primary Care Trust as an information support officer. This involved visiting all the practices in Wakefield and helping them to improve the level of usage of practical clinical systems, in particular, the completeness and consistency of data recording, to assess data quality, in order to enable practices to assess and use their own data to benefit patient care. Carol provides full management and administrative support to the practice, thus enabling the doctors to devote as much time as possible to caring for their patients. Carol should be able to help you with any administrative or non-medical problem and will be available should you have any complaints or suggestions. Originally from London, she has lived in Walton for 26 years and so has a good insight and experience of both Crofton and Walton villages. She is married with one son Darren 30, who is Service Co-ordinator at a residential and educational centre for autistic adults. Although her role as practice manager can be quite demanding at times, she enjoys the varying aspects of her job and likes to help people if she can. Away from work she enjoys socialising, going out for meals, holidays abroad, and weekend breaks whenever she can. From the age of 16 years, Carol has always had a passion for ballroom dancing, and managed to gain a few medals in her younger days. As she has not had the time to pursue this for a good few years, she hopes that once she has retired, she may find the time to take it up again. ContactMrs Carol Perkins |
